Scholarship to be awarded for outstanding examination papers (such as Master- or Diploma-Thesis or other University Degree) |
| The scientific Master or Diploma-Thesis is an essential element for the judgement of |
| beginners in professional engagement |
| The proof of exceptional results will be highly valued, it will help us decide who should |
| receive one of up to three grant-aided awards in this competition. |
| The ASCD will award up to three scholarships every two years. In case, that a certain amount |
| of works will be exceeded, the ASCD has the right to celebrate the Award after only one year. |
| Requirements: |
| 1. | The work submitted should be preferably based on an interdisciplinary |
| scientific approach and each subject should have a mark of at least “very good” or similar | |
| 2. | The expected subjects should be preferably related to |
|
|
Equestrian Sports, Polo, Racing and similar | |
|
|
Course and/or Concours Design | |
|
|
Equestrian Landscaping Architecture, Art and Design | |
|
|
Hippotherapy | |
|
|
Academisation and Science of Equestrian Sports | |
|
|
Horse Breeding | |
|
|
and similar | |
| 3. | Registration is required by the 31.12. of the current year (see registration |
| form), the thesis to be evaluated must be received by ASCD, in triplicate, by | |
| the 01.02. of the following year latest. | |
| 4. | Applicants should learn for life: |
| (1) they should be reachable | |
| (2) they should approach ASCD with their complete postal adress, phone, fax, | |
| e-mail etc. | |
| Scientific studies on subjects as above other than Diploma- or Master-Thesis |
| are welcome for the Scholarship, if volume, quality and scientific weight of the study |
| are equivalent to a Diploma- or Master-Thesis, at least marked "very good". |
| The winner(s) of the Scholarship will be decided by an independent jury of at least |
| three adjudicators. No appeal is allowed. |
| The winners of the best submitted works will be officially presented with the awards |
| normally at th next following CHIO Aachen. |
| Prize Value: up to EUR 3.000,-- |
| This scholarship prize money is kindly donated by Klaus and Ruth Trommler, Aachen. |
